Website Build Agreement

1.Payment Schedule & GST The Client agrees to pay the Total Project Fee as specified in the formal Quote or Invoice provided by The Developer for this project. All prices are quoted in AUD and are subject to 10% GST. Payments are structured as follows:

• Commencement Deposit (50%): Payable upon signing this agreement.
• Technical Completion (25%): Payable once the  Development website is functional on server (using Client content or placeholders).
• Final Launch (25%): Payable upon the site going live or 30 days after Technical Completion, whichever occurs first.

2. The 30-Day “Long-Stop” Clause To ensure project momentum, if the Client causes a delay (such as failing to provide text, images or feedback) for more than 30 days following Technical Completion, the final 25% balance will be invoiced immediately. All outstanding balances must be settled before the site is migrated to the live environment.

3. Project Dormancy & Restart Fees Should the project stall for more than 21 consecutive days due to a lack of Client input, the project will be moved to “Dormant Status.” To reactivate the project and re-enter the production schedule, a Restart Fee of $180 will apply. This fee covers the administrative cost of rescheduling and project re-familiarisation.

4. Content Delivery The Client acknowledges that delays in providing content (copy, images, logos) are the primary cause of project overruns. If content is not provided by the time the technical build is finished, “Lorem Ipsum” placeholder text will be used to satisfy the Milestone 2 requirements.

5. Hosting & Security Hosting on the Developer’s infrastructure commences at Milestone 1. Access to the website CMS and live launch will only be granted once the account is paid in full.
